This Privacy Policy explains how Huntington Ridge Farm (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Huntington Ridge mobile application and related web services (together, the “App”). The App is a private workforce tool provided to Huntington Ridge Farm staff and management for managing tasks, scheduling, time tracking, and related operations.
Information We Collect
We collect the following information so the App can function:
- Account information. Your name, email address, phone number, and assigned role (for example, worker or manager). This is used to create and secure your account and to sign you in.
- Authentication data. A one-time verification code sent to your phone, or your email and password, used solely to verify your identity at sign-in.
- Work activity. Information you enter or generate while using the App, such as task completion, clock in/out and time records, schedule and availability, time-off requests, stall and facility records, and purchase requests.
- Photos. If you choose to attach a photo to a task or stall record, the App accesses your camera or photo library to capture or select that image. We only access photos you explicitly select or capture for this purpose.
- Device and usage data. Basic technical information needed to operate the service reliably, such as app version and error/diagnostic information.
The App does not collect your precise or background location, and it does not contain advertising.
How We Use Information
- To provide, maintain, and secure the App and your account.
- To enable core features such as task management, scheduling, time tracking, and purchase requests.
- To communicate with you about your account and work-related activity within the App.
- To diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Information you enter is visible to authorized Huntington Ridge Farm management and staff as needed to operate the farm (for example, a manager can see task and schedule information for their team). We may share information with service providers who host and support the App on our behalf, and only as needed to provide the service, or where required by law.
Data Security
Information is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and authentication credentials are stored securely on your device using the operating system’s secure storage. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Data Retention
We retain account and work-activity information for as long as your account is active or as needed to operate the farm and meet legal or recordkeeping obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
Your Choices and Rights
Because the App is provided through your relationship with Huntington Ridge Farm, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us using the details below. You can also revoke camera and photo permissions at any time in your device settings; doing so will disable photo attachment features but will not otherwise affect the App.
Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for use by Huntington Ridge Farm staff who are adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the App where appropriate.
